# Delete your account

> Understand what permanent account deletion removes and how to request it from CalBudget Settings.

Account deletion permanently removes your consumer CalBudget account data. This is different from deleting a budget account, canceling a subscription, or resetting the product walkthrough.

## What deletion removes

Deleting your account removes data tied to your CalBudget user record, including:

* Bookmarks
* Debt planner data

CalBudget also attempts to remove linked external access that belongs to the account, including website billing records and connected Plaid access when present.

* Deleting one budget account from the calendar
* Canceling only a subscription while keeping your data
* Hiding Navigator or turning off a setting
* Deleting a CalBudget Business workspace

<Note>
  CalBudget Business workspaces are handled separately from personal CalBudget accounts. Contact support if you need help with a business workspace.
