Core expectations

  • You can use CalBudget without connecting a bank account.
  • You control the transactions, categories, and accounts you create.
  • Optional integrations should be reviewed before they affect your forecast.
  • Account deletion is available from account settings where supported.
  • Advisor and AI features are informational and should not be treated as financial advice.

Keep your account safe

  • Use a strong password if you sign in with email/password.
  • Use the same provider you used to create your account.
  • Do not share your login credentials.
  • Sign out on shared devices.
  • Be careful with screenshots that show balances, account names, or transaction details.

What not to send in support

Do not send:
  • Bank passwords.
  • Full account numbers.
  • Full card numbers.
  • One-time passcodes.
  • Private credentials.
Support can usually help with screenshots, dates, account names, and a description of what happened.

Optional AI and Advisor features

AI recommendations and Advisor use forecast context to provide planning help. They are designed to be informational. They do not replace professional financial, legal, tax, credit, or investment advice.

Delete your account

Use Profile settings to find account controls. If you need help with deletion, contact support@calbudget.com.
