Settings keep your account details and personal display preferences in one place. Most users only need to visit Settings when account details change, billing needs attention, or the calendar should feel easier to scan.

Open Settings

1

Open the profile menu

From the calendar, choose the profile/settings button in the top navigation.
2

Choose Settings

The Settings modal opens with tabs for Profile, Password, Appearance, Billing, and Account.
3

Change one thing at a time

Save or toggle the setting, then return to the calendar if you want to confirm how it feels.

Profile

Use Profile to update your display name and email preferences. Your login email is managed by CalBudget’s auth provider, so the email field is shown as account information rather than a self-service edit field. Contact support if the email address on your account needs to change. You can also opt in or out of occasional product updates and newsletters from Profile.

Password

Use Password to change the password on your CalBudget account. CalBudget asks for your current password, a new password, and confirmation. New passwords must be at least 10 characters.

Appearance

Appearance controls how the calendar and sidebar feel while you plan.
SettingWhat it changes
Color modeSwitch between dark and light workspace themes.
Transaction logosShow website favicons next to transactions with a URL.
Brand colorsUse a transaction logo’s brand color instead of the category color.
Keyboard shortcutsEnable shortcuts for navigation and common actions.
Payday celebrationShow an income-day celebration when today has income.
Sidebar insightsShow personalized budgeting tips in the sidebar.
Navigator AI recommendationsOpt in to Navigator-only report analysis when you request it.
Show Navigator on screenShow or hide the floating Navigator button and voice dock.
Navigator voice commandsEnable voice commands for creating transactions with Navigator.
Navigator settings may appear before you have Navigator access. Navigator-only features require the Navigator plan before they can be used.

Replay the walkthrough

Profile includes a Product walkthrough section. Use Replay walkthrough when you want to see the guided tour again for the calendar, forecast sidebar, reports, settings, and core planning tools. This is helpful after coming back to CalBudget later, changing devices, or helping someone else understand the workspace.

Billing

The Billing tab opens subscription management for website billing and can call attention to missing payment information before a trial ends. For plan details, see Plans and billing in this same consumer docs lane.

Account

The Account tab contains permanent account deletion. Treat it as a final action, not a reset tool. Deletion removes your CalBudget account data and cannot be undone.
